How ModularBots handles account, bot, and automation data.

Last updated: September 7, 2026

Product diagnostics

We use self-hosted PostHog to understand product usage and investigate failures. Diagnostics can include page visits, device and performance information, masked session recordings, browser and server console output, request and resource timing metadata, error traces, flow configuration snapshots, execution logs, and AI inputs and outputs. These diagnostics are also forwarded to PostHog Logs. We associate signed-in activity with an internal account identifier. Form inputs are masked in recordings, and credential fields are scrubbed from structured diagnostic data. Authorized administrators and automated repair tools can inspect diagnostic evidence to reproduce and fix issues. Local diagnostic evidence is retained for 90 days; new session recordings are configured for up to one year.

Data we process

ModularBots processes account details, connected bot metadata, flow configurations, template data, usage metrics, and content you provide so the product can function.

How data is used

We use data to authenticate users, run automations, render images, provide support, improve reliability, enforce limits, and protect the service from abuse.

Service providers

Some features rely on providers such as Discord, Convex, email delivery, storage, and AI APIs. Data may be sent to those providers only as needed to provide the requested feature.

Security

We use technical safeguards for sensitive data like bot tokens and authentication state. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so you should rotate tokens if you suspect exposure.
